The New York Times published the article, "As Robots Grow Smarter, American Workers Struggle to Keep Up" yesterday. While it's true that robotic technology has advanced, it still has room for improvements especially in the field of autonomous robots.

The Voice is on tonight. I haven't watched it in a few weeks and I probably won't watch it tonight but I was glad to hear DaNica Shirey sing Joni Mitchell's Help Me. I heard it all the time on the radio as a kid but never truly appreciated it until I heard Ms Shirey perform it again.

I like watching The Voice especially during the Blind Auditions. The show also helps me learn what music is popular nowadays.

One of my friends who lives in Florida complained that it was cold there now. She said it was 68 degrees. Earlier this month, the temperature had been averaging in the 80's. I had gone running the morning she complained and thought 20 degrees was warm. Where I live, we had been experiencing single digit temperatures. So what the heck is going on?

Simply put, the body adapts to the environment's temperature. According to Wikipedia,

I love periodic tables and TED has one of their own. When you click on an element, a video pops up describing some of the properties of the element.

TED also has a series of videos illustrating the principles of quantum mechanics. The illustrations are smartly drawn and cute.
